Upper School Musical Sets Sail on Feb. 25

Upper School Musical Sets Sail on Feb. 25

On February 25, 26, and 27, at 7:00 pm, the S.S. American will be setting sail on the Branch Theatre stage for an Atlantic Crossing in high style. Music, dancing, and shenanigans ensue as the luxury liner cruises from New York to England — all set to some of the most memorable tunes by Cole Porter.

Aboard the American is an unusual cast of passengers: Public Enemy #13 Moonface Martin with his moll Bonnie; Sir Evelyn Oakleigh and his fiancé, Hope Harcourt (and her mother); famed evangelist-turned-nightclub singer Reno Sweeny; oft-intoxicated American businessman Elisha J. Whitney; and his stowaway assistant Billy Crocker.

Star-crossed loves, mistaken identities and general shipboard mayhem ensue, much to the delight of the passengers and crew.

For ticket information contact Kendall Griffith at 481-1111, Ext. 758 or kgriffith@hollandhall.org
